Six Stones for Aquarius

Using an ally, like a gemstone or crystal, is a good idea for this sign, as they are naturally empathetic to nature, and thrive best when in touch with their spirituality.

Aquarius does well with stones that are light blue in color, as they are the water bearer, but can also incorporate red and yellow.

Stones that offer emotional protection and grounding are beneficial, as water and air need stabilizing and warming.

Silver is a good metal for Aquarius, as it aids in blood detoxification and circulation while removing negative energies.

Amethyst is a stone for spiritual seekers because it purifies the aura. They are excellent when used as prayer beads, where one can touch its centering and thought-calming properties. Amethyst is good for the third eye and Crown Chakra and heightens intuitive thought and wisdom.

Amethyst is found in Greek mythology as the stone for sobriety.

Aquamarine is a stone for the Throat Chakra. It helps with communication and releasing long-held resentments and emotions. It is useful for travelers, especially those who are attracted to the sea, as it protects and magnetizes the power of the moon and spiritual/creative illumination.

Aquamarine fosters compassion and empathy, which aids in the Aquarian’s humanitarian pursuits.

Amber is actually a fossilized resin and not a gemstone. It’s a powerful healer and protects the psyche while clearing an overactive mind and promotes the release of negative energy.

Amber is warming, grounding, eases stress and fear and helps Aquarius connect with earth energy as it often contains ancient bits of leaves, insects or tree bark. Amber carries ancient wisdom that the highly intuitive Aquarius can tap into and wear when creating the new Earth.

Labradorite is a special stone, known to the Inuit people as the frozen fire that fell from the Aurora Borealis.
